This is cooler with beads... but much cheaper with yarn. If you want to splurge, you could get some nice yarn for this project. WOOH!
In color A.
Chain 81. 1 sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. 80 sc total.
In color B.
Join the new color and sl st in the first 25 stitches. Ch 50 and skip the next 30 stitches. Sl st in the last 25 stitches taking care not to twist when you rejoin. Ch 1. 1 sc in each stitch across (100 stitches total).
In color C.
Join the new color and sl st in the first 25 stitches. Ch 70 and skip the next 50 stitches. Sl st in the last 25 stitches taking care not to twist when you rejoin. Make a button on this end. Ch 4. Join into the first of the 4 chains with a sl st. Ch 1 and make 7 sc into the center of the ch-4 loop. Join with a sl st. Ch 1, 2 sc into each sc of previous row. Join with a sl st. Ch 1, 1 sc in every other sc of previous row (decreasing). Join to make a bobble with one sl st through the center. Sl st around the edge of the bobble. When you make it back to the necklace part, ch 1, and sc in each stitch across. When you reach the end of the row. Ch 5 to make a loop to surround the bobble. Join with a sl st.
Cut 12 inch long pieces of yarn to make your fringe. With Color C, skip 20 stitches on each side and leave them without fringe. With Color B, skip 10 stitches on each side and leave them without fringe. With Color A, put fringe in each stitch across. And TA DA! A cool necklace!
