I love craft fairs. It is a gathering of a vivacious, supportive, creative community to celebrate their talents, hard work, and all the love they have to poor into each and every item they make. Quite literally a gathering of blood, sweat, and tears...
Stealing is a terrible thing to do, but it is made even more terrible when you steal from a crafter. I may make hats faster than most, but I still devote many hours, lots of effort, and much love to every item I make. There is something special in things handmade and to take it without paying and acknowledging the hard work devoted to it is a new kind of terrible.
Prior to this, if you were wearing some Sans Limites it was because I made it special for you - a dear friend (someone greatly important in my life who I deeply care about) or a customer (again - someone greatly important in my life who I deeply care about). Now there are people wearing something I put so much care into without realizing how much love and thought is put into what they took - this is more heartbreaking than any monetary loss. To my friends, family, and customers - you mean more to me than you know! Thank you a thousand times over!
Craft fairs are filled with people I love, respect, and admire. Robbers, don't ruin it for us!!!
