A Friday night happy hour celebration with my cousin (who turned 24 last week... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL!) with this amazing view and a cheap New Belgium Fat Tire Beet (a little taste of home).
Going for a looooong walk on the deserted beach. I found a dollar in the sand and made it back in the door just as the rain started coming down... now that's good luck. Spent the rest of the rainy day inside a blanket fort with some lovely lit candles, crocheting, and tea. Yum.
Catching the midnight showing of The Hunger Games with some of the most awesome roomies around (and smuggling in the world's greatest donuts!)
This week we're all missing home a little... OK ... a lot. So much the Minnesota girls made tater tot hot dish (it's a midwest thing?) and I'm trying to get my mother dear to send me her pumpkin bread recipe. Good thing California and Krochet Kids continues to keep us very VERY busy!
