Faux Sheepskin Rug

I've seen these sheepskin rugs everywhere!  And they are so awesome for decorating your house (maybe more on that tomorrow).

Now you can make a version of that sheepskin rug for yourself... with crochet?  Pretty awesome, huh?  Harley dog is sure loving to cuddle on it!

Buy the pattern now on Etsy, Ravelry, and Craftsy!  Email me with any questions!

Happy stitching!

Chocolate Binges

So... I had hoped to do all my homework last night, so I could spend all my free time today getting a fun DIY ready for you all...

Then I came home from class and found an entire box of chocolates... gone.

The next 7 hours consisted of lots of floor scrubbing, laundry doing, and some after hours time at the vet.  Fun times.  Has your dog ever eaten chocolate?  It's not pretty.

Here's hoping I get a whole lot done today!  I need coffee...

Harley... understandably worn out... as am I.

On the Mend

Finally on the mend today!  HOORAY!

Saw this photo on facebook (thanks to our family friend, Patti)!  This is what my parents are up to this week.... on the island of Turks and Caicos... while I'm stuck here on the couch.  Trying so hard not to be jealous, but I'm not that big of a person...

While researching stuff to do on the island, my mom found the place is known for its stray dogs called "potcakes."  Read up on them HERE.  Since I've been begging for a puppy for about 3 years now... I'm kind of hoping that will be my souvenir (but probably not).  A girl can dream.

I may not be sailing or playing with that cutie, but Harley and I are getting lots of stuff done.  So if you've been waiting for a hat or a new pattern... I'm on it.  Hopefully photos and a new DIY to come soon.  Happy stitching!

Sick

Been sick and haven't left the house since Friday...  thinking today might finally be the day to venture out and stock my orange juice and yarn stash!  Seems as though everyone is sick this week!  Hoping you all are healthy!

Luckily, I've had a little dog sticking by my side till I'm healthy.  What a sweetie.

Thank goodness for Harley, yarn, and Downton Abbey!

Insta-SLC

This was an overactive week for SansLimitesCrochet on Instagram...  Lots of holiday parade photos (this year's Parade of Lights and Macy's 2004)... lots of Krochet Kids photos (I hope you voted for them to win a million - if not, it's OK, just go buy a hat instead!) ...  and a pic from a Ugandan orphanage for World AIDS day...   oh yeah... and of course, some really cool stitching DIY projects.

Hope you have a lovely week!  Hopefully a new pattern coming out today... just working on taking some PHOTOS!  (PS  In the works with One O.A.K.  Photography for some really fun pictures that are more than just out by our front door...  get excited!)

Leaving early next week to head out to San Fran for Renegade!  (read up -------------->)
Blog posts may be sparse, so be sure to follow SansLimitesCrochet on Instagram or Tumblr for road trip, craft fair, and stitching photos!

The Knit Harley Hat

Here is a cool and easy to make ribbed hat for the winter.  It is worked with 2 colors of yarn together as one so it makes up really fast!  I perfect pattern for the beginning knitter or a last minute holiday gift!

Available on Etsy, Ravelry, and Craftsy!  And email SansLimitesCrochet@gmail.com with questions!

Have a great holiday week, everybody!  Happy stitching!

Insta - Sans Limites Crochet

Some instagram photos of life lately.  Still working on getting those darn knit hat patterns finished... soon!  Here are some pretty pictures of them in the mean time...

...Probably one reason I'm not getting them done?  The huge waste of time that is this site.  I'm laughing so hard I have tears...

OMG! PUPPY! (I looooove puppies!)

I think my California roommates thought I was a little crazy the first time they saw me flip out over a Boston Terrier... OK... maybe I am a little crazy!  They're just so darn cute!

I finally got the chance to hit up some craft stores looking for my book!  No luck here in the Fort... hopefully it will be stocked soon.

I soothed my lack of book sadness with a yummy coffee drink called "The Salty Dog" and then went and played with the Boston Terrier puppy at the pet store.

Sad to say he probably won't be joining this little stitching family any time soon... Harley is a grumpy, trouble making, old dog... we would hate to set him loose on a puppy this cute - he's just not very nice!

So for now, I'm just Boston Terrier dreaming...   Someday...

Some insta-SansLimitesCrochet...

PS - like that bright blue hat?  It's been a long time since I have written a knit pattern!  That's the one I'm working on this week!  So glad it's hat weather again!
