Insta-SLC

This was an overactive week for SansLimitesCrochet on Instagram...  Lots of holiday parade photos (this year's Parade of Lights and Macy's 2004)... lots of Krochet Kids photos (I hope you voted for them to win a million - if not, it's OK, just go buy a hat instead!) ...  and a pic from a Ugandan orphanage for World AIDS day...   oh yeah... and of course, some really cool stitching DIY projects.

Hope you have a lovely week!  Hopefully a new pattern coming out today... just working on taking some PHOTOS!  (PS  In the works with One O.A.K.  Photography for some really fun pictures that are more than just out by our front door...  get excited!)

Leaving early next week to head out to San Fran for Renegade!  (read up -------------->)
Blog posts may be sparse, so be sure to follow SansLimitesCrochet on Instagram or Tumblr for road trip, craft fair, and stitching photos!

Insta-SansLimites (Thanksgiving Edition)

I had the most splendid Thanksgiving.  The best part?  My sister Amanda came home from Boston.  She brought me a cute T-shirt and Trader Joe's Cookie Butter (there are no Trader Joe's stores in Colorado... I know... it's pretty much a crime).  We also indulged in some cocktails including Ft. Collins beer and cooked... a lot.

Here are a few photos... hope yours was as wonderful!  Have a splendid day!

Insta - Sans Limites Crochet

Some instagram photos of life lately.  Still working on getting those darn knit hat patterns finished... soon!  Here are some pretty pictures of them in the mean time...

...Probably one reason I'm not getting them done?  The huge waste of time that is this site.  I'm laughing so hard I have tears...

OMG! PUPPY! (I looooove puppies!)

I think my California roommates thought I was a little crazy the first time they saw me flip out over a Boston Terrier... OK... maybe I am a little crazy!  They're just so darn cute!

I finally got the chance to hit up some craft stores looking for my book!  No luck here in the Fort... hopefully it will be stocked soon.

I soothed my lack of book sadness with a yummy coffee drink called "The Salty Dog" and then went and played with the Boston Terrier puppy at the pet store.

Sad to say he probably won't be joining this little stitching family any time soon... Harley is a grumpy, trouble making, old dog... we would hate to set him loose on a puppy this cute - he's just not very nice!

So for now, I'm just Boston Terrier dreaming...   Someday...

Some insta-SansLimitesCrochet...

PS - like that bright blue hat?  It's been a long time since I have written a knit pattern!  That's the one I'm working on this week!  So glad it's hat weather again!

THE BOOOOOK!

I woke up yesterday all excited that it was book day... but had a lot to do in the morning and then was spending all day at Fine and Funky art market... and I was a bit sad I wasn't going to have the chance to try and find it at my local craft stores.  And then... there was a knock on the door... and a big box got dropped off.  It was filled with several copies of the book and all the hats I made that were used for the photo shoot.  SO. SO. SO. HAPPY.

The book looks good, guys!  Check it out!

A Halloween Insta- SLC

I few instagram photos from Sans Limites' Halloween!  Hope yours was just as fabulous!

I was so tempted to break my clothing challenge and buy this amazing glitter and fringe flapper dress I found a few weeks ago when Rachel was in town.  Found it at a vintage store, but it was still brand new.  Closest I've come to not making it till my birthday without buying anything new!  AH!  But then I found this great Ann Taylor backless little black dress for $10 at a different thrift store... got that to be Audrey instead... and maintained my no new clothes goal! YES!

AND... another big thing... make sure you go out and vote today for early voting!  AND DEFINITELY VOTE ON TUESDAY!!!  Yay Democracy!  Let your American pride shine!  VOTE!

Insta - SLC

I love when family comes into town and we take a special mountain trip.  Yup.  I live here.  For REAL.  It's awesome.  I'm also getting together some cool stuff for Renegade displays.  Hooray for vintage suitcases.

I wanted to have a crochet yourself a pumpkin Halloween costume DIY today... but there is just so much going on over here.  No crochet  pumpkin time for me.  I have an Audrey Hepburn costume ready and waiting to go...  I'm also going to go vote today!  WOOH!  Hope you all have a fantastic Halloween.  Stay SAFE - especially if you're on the east coast.  Hurricane Sandy is a b*tch.  Stupid Frankenstorm.  Donate to the Red Cross if you can HERE or text DONATE to 90999 to give $25.

Insta - SLC ...French Nest

Today was the French Nest Market!  Hip Hip Hooray!  Pretty pumped the stress of that is over and plan to spend tomorrow sleeping, hiking, cooking, and maybe thrifting... and not crocheting at all.  (My fingers could use one serious break!)  It was an absolutely beautiful day and I took a ton of pictures!  As always- you can follow SansLimitesCrochet on Instagram for constant updates!  Hoping to have lots of market related DIY's and patterns coming out in the coming weeks for all you fellow stitchers that attend craft markets as well!  Yay!  Happy Weekend, ALL!

Insta - SLC and other shtuff

Some instagram photos from the Sans Limites life this week...

And other shtuff to chat with you about...

1.  The Etsy sale is still going on.  Use coupon code SPLIT to get 20% off everything in the shop!  Even the expensive stuff!

2.  The Etsy shop will be reworked into TWO different shops on Monday. WOH big day!

3.  I have project ADD really really badly right now... (Is it bad to have 3 bags, a backpack, 2 dresses and a vest unfinished???  Yeah... I think that's bad!)  Needless to say... patterns and DIY's are coming quite slowly because of this issue...

4.  Pattern are also slowing down just a bit because I've been making birthday gifts, getting a start on Christmas gifts, as well as trying to build my stock of shtuff for holiday art markets, various craft shows, and a few little boutiques around town... that's a lot of shtuff!  Shoot!

5.  I've also been taking lots of days away from stitching so I can go up into my beloved Colorado mountains and enjoy my favorite season.  Seriously.... the leaves... they're just so prettttttty!

And that's what's going on over here!  The END.
